Kamaraj Memorial

The doyen of Indian politics, K.Kamaraj was the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for 9 years. He was also president of the All India Congress Committee for a brief period. For the first time in Independant India, Kamaraj introduced free education and free mid-day neck scheme for children. He died on 2.10.1975. This memorial is situated at Guindy. Entry Free.
